Organise your Airport Transfers, Ski Extras & In-Resort Services

Book your Flights

The nearest and most convenient airport is Geneva, just over two hours from Les Menuires resort. The main provider of budget flights from the UK is EasyJet, but British Airways also offer regular flights from London Heathrow, along with one or two others.

It is also possible to drive to Les Menuires. The village is about 9 hours' drive from Calais and, if chosen carefully, the route will be all motorways until the final 30 minutes or so.

The final option is to travel by train. The best option is to get the Eurostar to Paris, then the TGV to Geneva (at lightning speed!). After a 15-minute train ride to the airport, you can take a transfer bus from Geneva Airport to Les Menuires. See below for details of transfer companies.

Order your Liftpass

Liftpasses are available from the main liftpass office in the centre of Les Menuires resort, and at most of the major chairlifts throughout the ski area. In some cases, your chalet company might arrange this for you so you don't have to go and collect it (this service is usually free of charge, too).

Liftpass prices vary according to the time of the season, the age of the skier, the time-duration of the liftpass (in days), and the resorts included. Click to find out more about Les Menuires liftpass prices.

Arrange Childcare

There is rather less provision of English-langage childcare in the Belleville Valley than in the neighbouring resorts of the Meribel and Courchevel valleys to the East. Some providers will travel over from Meribel, but you might also consider using a larger agency.

About the Resort

As part of the Three Valleys ski area, Les Menuires gives you the perfect access to arguably the world's best ski area. The resort itself sits high up the Belleville Valley at 1850 meters, and arguably has some of the best skiing in the 3 Valleys. It boasts two separate areas and along with St Martin de Belleville has 160kms of pisted skiing.

Whilst perhaps lacking the rural traditions and natural charm of Saint Martin it more than makes up for it with its ski in ski out locations and its many amenities. The centre of Les Menuires is a hive of activity and boasts plenty of piste side bars and restaurants, an ideal place for a pit stop in the sunshine.

Les Menuires Skiing

The Belleville valley is the right-hand valley when you look at the piste map, and contains St Martin de Belleville, Les Menuires and Val Thorens (which is the highest ski resort in Europe). This giant valley has just about everything a skier could want: high altitude snow sure skiing, wide open pistes, a whole world of off piste possibilities and world-class lift system. Add to that the connections to the other two valleys and you've every skiiers dream.

Les Menuires, being a modern purpose built resort, is wonderfully practical with lots of ski in / ski out chalet and apartments, and high speed ski lifts that'll whisk you up the mountain from the centre of the ski resort. The altitude of the village centre (1850m) means you've great snow sure skiing all season long.

The Three vallees itself is huge in scale, high altitude, massive off-piste possbilities, wide open slopes, world-leading lift infrastructure... the list goes on. There's good reason why it's always up there in the rankings of "Best Ski Areas in the World".

For those keen to experience the famous off-piste of the Three Valleys then there's a range of excellent guiding companies available (again if you want any recomendations please just post up your questions on our facebook page and we'll be very happy to give you some suggestions).
