Organise your Airport Transfers, Ski Extras & In-Resort Services

Book your Flights

The nearest and most convenient airport is Geneva, just over two hours from St Martin de Belleville resort. The main provider of budget flights from the UK is EasyJet, but British Airways also offer regular flights from London Heathrow, along with one or two others.

It is also possible to drive to Saint Jean d'Aulps. The village is about 9 hours' drive from Calais and, if chosen carefully, the route will be all motorways until the final 30 minutes or so.

The final option is to travel by train. The best option is to get the Eurostar to Paris, then the TGV to Geneva (at lightning speed!). After a 15-minute train ride to the airport, you can take a transfer bus from Geneva Airport to Saint Jean d'Aulps. See below for details of transfer companies.

Order your Liftpass

Liftpasses are available from the main liftpass office in the centre of Saint Jean d'Aulps resort, and at most of the major chairlifts throughout the ski area. In some cases, your chalet company might arrange this for you so you don't have to go and collect it (this service is usually free of charge, too).

Liftpass prices vary according to the time of the season, the age of the skier, the time-duration of the liftpass (in days), and the resorts included. Click to find out more about Saint Jean d'Aulps liftpass prices.

Arrange Childcare

There is rather less provision of English-langage childcare in the Belleville Valley than in the neighbouring resorts of the Meribel and Courchevel valleys to the East. Some providers will travel over from Meribel, but you might also consider using a larger agency.

Saint Jean d'Aulps is a modest, picturesque region, situated at the foot of Roc d'Enfer mountains. This cosy commune is nestled between Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva. In the Winter, Saint Jean d'Aulps is a popular tourist attraction due to the connection with the Portes du Soleil ski area. This is suited for skiers of all disciplines, however for experienced skiers there are 40 km of pistes. The forest circuit (Roc d’Enfer) offers a rare, 20 km exploit in and around the commune. A free shuttle bus also brings people from the village to the skiing area.

However to enjoy the full Portes du Soleil ski area, Morzine is only a 10 minute drive away! Or there is a shuttle bus from the town centre to Morzine and Les Gets in Winter.
